Troubleshooting Internet Access Bridge

 I cannot see the Bridge(IAB) on my phone when I try to add it in the HALO Home app.

Potential Cause   Resolution
Already claimed to another account  

Make sure the Bridge not is already connected to another network (if it is the Blue LED will be solid). The blue LED must be flashing our you will not see the Bridge to add to your network

Device proximity not close enough  

The  HALO  device you are using to connect to the Bridge is too far away. Move a device closer to the Bridge and make sure you are standing next to the closest RL device

Bridge has not completed boot process  

You did not wait long enough after you plugged it in. The Bridge setup process takes a couple of minutes so be patient and try again.

 

The claiming process failed on Step-1:  Cannot find Bridge.

Bridge too far from Wi-Fi router  

Try moving the Bridge closer to your Wi-Fi router

Wi-Fi router is not powered or is off-line  

Make sure your Wi-Fi router is powered and operational, restarting it if necessary

 

The Wi-Fi screen did not show the router SSID I am looking for.

Bridge too far from Wi-Fi router  

Try moving the Bridge closer to your Wi-Fi router

 

The process failed on Step-3:  Wi-Fi password was not accepted or failed to associate.

Potential Cause   Resolution
Entered incorrect password  

Make sure you are typing the correct password.  Use the Show Password button to view before saving.

Bridge is too close to the 
Wi-Fi router
 

Ensure the Bridge is more than four (4) feet from your Wi-Fi router 

 

I added the Internet Access Bridge to my account, but I'm not able to control my lighting remotely.

Potential Cause   Resolution
Mobile device not connected to Internet  

Ensure your mobile device is connected to the Internet by either LTE or Wi-Fi

You may have changed your router SSID or password

 

Re-configure the Wi-Fi settings on the Bridge configuration screen
